Eltharion Server Transfers. Free transfers off of the Eltharion server will begin on Monday. Players will have five servers to choose from: Karak-Norn, Karak-Azgal, Carroburg, Drakenwald and Athel Loren. Remember to give the transfer guide a look over, and good luck on your new server!

Macworld Review. A Warhammer Online review by Chris Holt of Macworld.com is up online, and WAR scored a 4 out of 5! Server Maintenance: Eltharion 18/11/09. Players on the European server Eltharion can anticipate downtime Wednesday morning at 9 CET. No worries though! The Herald says it should be back up with increased stability an hour later.

Jeff Skalski - WAR Producer's Letter. Jeff Skalski delivered on his promise, and another producer's letter is up on the Herald just waiting for you to read it. The WAR team is tweaking the Underdog system and preparing 1.3.3 for the PTS. With the patch we can expect to see Keg End and Night of Murder return, along with a brand new live event!

Billing Maintenance. Certain players in Europe couldn't get their WAR on today due to issues stemming from billing maintenance. The problems should be fixed now, but be sure to contact customer service if you're still having trouble.

Jeff Skalski Interview. Massively.com posted an interview today with Jeff Skalski on what lies ahead for WAR. The interview touched on a lot of items, including user feedback to 1.3.2, the endless trial, 1.3.3 and WAR's Korean debut. Server merges were also brought up, and while nothing is happening for at least a few weeks, Skalski said they're keeping an eye on Dark Crag and Phoenix

Jeff Hickman - Executive Producer's Letter. Jeff Hickman wants you to know Mythic isn't going anywhere, and the studio is still hard at work on Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer Online. They have plans for us, so keep on WAAAGHing brave fighters!

Mass PTS Playtest - 11/11/09. Expect Warpstone to be hopping tomorrow, because the Dev team is hosting a playtest starting at 8 p.m. EST. Anyone itching to experience reduced City siege timers and new VP values should save the date. Plus, there's a chance you might win an Enslaved Manticore or Imperial Griffon mount.

Well the topic of this developer diary is a naughty word—the H word—H****** - er… hacking. It’s something we at Mythic don’t often talkabout openly, but we do take very seriously. It’s a very interestingsubject that I’d love to talk in-depth about; it has many challengesand curiosities that make for an interesting discussion. I get a senseof joy when I know we’ve ruined a hacker’s day. Unfortunately,“fighting the good fight” is very cloak-and-daggers stuff, going backand forth, with the hackers and cheaters—so, to talk about it in greatdetail also gives information to the very people we’re attempting tothwart. Here’s my best shot at showing you a glimpse behind thecurtain about how we handle hacking and cheaters without giving awaytoo many of our secrets!
